Pre-Legislative Day and Optional Dinner: Wednesday, March 19, 2025

Wednesday is designed as a day to be active and meet one-on-one or in small groups with legislators and governmental officials to help promote the Chamber's Legislative Priorities or other business matters.  The Chamber will be scheduling meetings that day, or we can also assist you with scheduling appointments to promote your own business or organizational priorities.

The Wednesday Pre-Legislative Day Dinner is optional.  Join the Chamber for dinner at the Governors Club (Private Dining Room; $95 per person paid in advance, includes pre-dinner cocktail hour at the Governors Club and all drinks, limited to 1st 50 to sign up. Please call Ardath Prendergast for reservations 352-795-3149.  To participate in the Wednesday events, you will need to provide your own transportation to Tallahassee. 

If you go Wednesday and need a hotel for Wednesday night, we are holding a number of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tallahassee. Rates range from $273.00 - $295.00 plus tax.  We are also holding some rooms at the Courtyard Tallahassee Downtown/Capitol at $239.00 plus tax. OPTION 2:

Legislative Day only with Round Trip Bus Transportation from Citrus County:  Thursday, March 20- Includes round trip bus transportation to Tallahassee, Legislative Day sessions and elegant catered lunch in the Plaza Room of TSC at Kleman Plaza.

Legislative Day will feature a morning of legislators and agency officials who will meet with us to discuss issues of local, regional and state importance with time for questions and answers.  It is a great way to get an overview of what is happening during the 2024 Legislative Session, with a focus on matters of importance to Citrus County.

All Legislative Day events will take place in the Plaza Room of TSC at Kleman Plaza.  Our keynote speaker will be announced soon.

Thereafter, you will have time to sit in on House and Senate sessions or committee meetings or explore the Capitol area downtown before returning to Citrus County late in the afternoon.
