Citrus County's largest homeless shelter system. Over one hundred homeless Vets, men, women, and children stay at our five shelters each night. Citrus County can be proud of the Mission in Citrus. We are getting National attention. The Mission is the only program in the Country, where the homeless are helping each other, with no paid staff. In addition. Our success rate is second to none. Over one thousand were helped in the past 15 months. Less than 10% are in jail or have returned to homelessness.
